An evening of Reunion, Remembrance, and Renewal in the National AIDS Memorial Grove, “Light in the Grove” invites communities to honor World AIDS Day by celebrating and holding space for one another. All the sights and sounds you will experience this evening have been carefully curated to highlight how music functioned as a catalyst for deep expression and as a mode of advocacy during the height of the HIV/AIDS crisis. Join us on this music journey commemorating the lives of people with AIDS.
Music includes Together Again, by Dave Koz & Jeffrey Marshall, Winter Toccata by Robert Maggio, and No Feeling is the Same as Before by Chester Biscardi, and features a spiritual performance with Danza Azteca.
